Are these 4 factors sabotaging your skincare?

Do you sometimes feel like you’re doing everything right but still not seeing the results you want?

I’ve been there and I suppose at some point you have been too…

So, here are three of the most common reasons I’ve learned could affect how well skincare products work…

By taking these factors into consideration and adjusting my routine accordingly, I've been able to optimize it for the best possible results.

You’re not giving your products enough time to work

Many people expect immediate results from their skincare products, but unfortunately, this is not how skincare works.

Skincare is not a quick fix – it takes time and consistency to seе results.

I know… we all want overnight results but unfortunately this is not the case with skincare…

If you’re constantly switching up your routine or not using your products regularly, you may not be giving them enough time to work…

It’s important to be patient and stick with your routine for at least 4 weeks to see how your skin reacts to the products you’ve been using.

Remember that results take time and you need some persistence and patience.

You’re not taking care of your skin from the inside out

While topical skincare products are important, what you put into your body is just as crucial.

The food you eat, how much water you drink, and your overall health & wellness can significantly impact the health of your skin.

Skincare is not just about what you put on your face, but also about how you take care of your body.

Remember, skincare is a holistic approach that requires a combination of healthy habits, effective products, and consistency.

You’re not layering your products right

Applying skincare products in the right order is crucial for achieving healthy and radiant skin.

Simply said, layering products from lightest to heaviest allows each product to be absorbed effectively and deliver maximum benefits to the skin.

Applying them in the wrong order can result in negative interactions between the products and prevent them from working effectively.

The correct order goes like this: cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturiser and sunscreen.

Remember that applying skincare products in the correct order allows each product to work to its fullest potential, delivering the maximum benefits to your skin.

By following this order, you'll be able to achieve healthier, more radiant skin.

Weather is influencing your skincare regime

Weather can have a significant impact on how well your skincare products work.

For example, cold weather can have a significant impact on how well your skincare products work, as it can cause your skin to become dehydrated and flaky.

So the key to keeping your skin healthy and radiant during cold weather is to use skincare products that provide deep hydration and nourishment.

By being mindful of these factors and making adjustments to your routine as needed, I managed to help ensure that my skin looks and feels its best.

From my own experience, by treating skincare as a personal and unique experience, you can help ensure that your routine is tailored to your specific needs, resulting in happier, healthier skin.
