Exercise 1: The Brow Smoother
Fine lines and wrinkles on our forehead can be quite bothersome, but fear not - the brow smoother exercise is here to help!
1.To begin, place your index fingers just above your eyebrows and apply gentle pressure.
2.Close your eyes and try to lift your eyebrows while resisting the movement with your fingers.
3.Hold for 10 seconds and repeat five times.
This exercise helps to tone the muscles in your forehead, reducing those stubborn lines over time.
Exercise 2: The Cheek Plumper
Loss of cheek volume can make us feel like we're losing our youthful glow.
1. First, smile as widely as you can without feeling any discomfort.
2.Place your index fingers on the tops of your cheeks and gently lift them up while maintaining your smile.
3. Hold for 10 seconds and repeat five times.
This exercise helps lift your cheeks and promote a plump, youthful appearance.
Exercise 3: The Neck Tightener
To combat the effects of ageing on the delicate skin of the neck, let's introduce The Neck Tightener exercise into your Face Yoga routine. This exercise is designed to help you regain a more youthful and toned neck area.
1. Begin by finding a comfortable sitting or standing position with your back straight.
2.Gently tilt your head backward, so you're looking up at the ceiling. As you do this, press your tongue firmly against the roof of your mouth.
The Neck Tightener exercise strengthens the muscles in your neck and throat, promoting a firmer appearance. It's a subtle yet effective way to target fine lines and sagging skin in the neck area.
Remember to perform this exercise slowly and mindfully to avoid straining your neck.
Exercise 4: Nasolabial Smoother: Banishing Laugh Lines
Laugh lines, those subtle creases that appear from the sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth, can add character to your face, but sometimes we wish to minimize their prominence.
1. Begin by sitting comfortably with a relaxed face.
2. Gently place your index fingers on the corners of your mouth, applying slight upward pressure to lift the corners of your lips.
3. While maintaining this gentle pressure, channel your inner smile and stretch your mouth into the widest grin you can muster.
4. Hold this smile for 5-10 seconds, all the while feeling the resistance created by your fingertips.
5. Release and relax, and then repeat this exercise 5-10 times.
